Hi there. This is Usagi. A little info on
this story before you read it. It’s the
second of three stories in a series. If you
haven’t read Do You Remember, I really would.
It kind of tells you what’s going to happen in
this story. Now, after this one, you can
check out Silver Powers, it’s the story after
this. Anyway, thanks.
Thank you to all my favorite writers.
You’ve all inspired me!
Thanks to Mayo chan, my Japan roomie and
San Diego Buddy! I miss you.
This story takes place about a year after
Do You Remember. Inners have all graduated
High School, the lights are gone, Sailor Sol
is still around, Chibi Usa and the Chibi
Scouts have been gone for a really long time,
and Serena and Darien are engaged.

What Really Happened? - Chapter 1

Cherry Hill Temple

“Hey guys!” I said happily as I skipped up
the steps to the temple.
“Serena!” they said as they turned and saw
me.
“We’ve got to hurry. Raye and Amy have
been getting funny readings from the sacred
fire and Mercury’s computer.” Lita said as we
rushed inside.
“So, what’s going on?” I asked as we sat
in front of the sacred fire.
“Well, ever since the battle with Galaxia,
and the second Diamond encounter, and even
after all the kids went home, I’ve been
getting weird vibes. I don’t know, but I
think that the Great Silence is coming.
Mercury has done some scans, and well, parts
of the planet are starting to freeze over.
It’s a matter of time before we, well you
know.” Raye said.
“Okay. Well, it’s almost time for me to
get home. Mom is going to kill me if I’m late
tonight.” I said as I got up to go.
	“How come?” Mina asked.
“Aunt Marie is in town and she expects me
in before dark. I’m eighteen, and I’m still
being treated like a baby. I’ll see you all
later, and if anyone talks to Darien, tell him
to call me before ten. Bye.” I said as I
raced out of the temple and raced toward home
to make my deadline.

At My House

“Serena, you’re a minute late!” Mom
whispered.
	“Sorry! I had a scout meeting.” I
whispered back.
“Oh dear, I’m sorry. Is there anything I
should know about?” Mom asked.
“No, it’s none of your business. Look,
can I go call Darien or not?” I asked
impatiently.
“Yes. I’m sorry for cutting your meeting
short.” She said.
“It’s okay.” I said as I raced up the
stairs to my room. When I got inside, I
grabbed the phone and dialed Darien’s number.
“Moshi Moshi.” Darien said when he picked
up.
	“Hi.” I whispered sexily.
“Hey, what are you up to? I went to the
meeting and you had already left.” He said.
“Yeah, sorry about that. With Aunt Marie
here, I have to be in before dark.” I laughed
as he groaned on the other end.
“That’s sounds like fun. What about our
date Friday?”
“I talked Mom into letting me go out. She
said that there is no reason why I shouldn’t
be allowed to go out on a date with my
fiancé.” I laughed.
“Hmm, I like the sound of that.” He
laughed.
“Me too.” I said. “So, I have a question
for you.”
	“Shoot.”
“Can I spend the night Friday?”
“If your mom let’s you. I mean, I
finished your room and all.”
“Cool. Hey did the others tell you what’s
going on?”
	“Yep.”
“What do you think about the whole
situation?” I asked.
“It’s weird. But, didn’t Setsuna say
you’re transformation was going to take four
years?”
“Yeah, I was thinking about that. I think
something may have changed the future
slightly. Oh, I don’t know. Honey, I miss
you.” I said sadly into the receiver.
“I miss you too baby. We’ll have all
weekend to be together. Is your mom there
where I can talk to her?”
	“Yes, why?” I asked.
“Cause I need to talk to her about this
weekend.” He said.
“Okay. Hold on.” I said as I went to the
door. “MOM! Can you come here for a moment?”
I yelled.
“Coming.” She said as she came up the
stairs. “Serena, what is it?” she asked.
“Darien wants to talk to you.” I said as I
handed her the phone.
“Hello?” Mom said as she and Darien had a
nice conversation. “Sure Darien. I don’t see
why she can’t spend the whole weekend at your
apartment. Yes, Ken won’t mind either when I
explain it to him. Yeah, okay. Sayonara
Darien.” Mom said as she handed me the phone.
“What are you two talking about?” I asked.
“None of your business. Bring enough
clothes for the whole weekend. You’re mom
said you could stay until Sunday. Now, I’ve
got to go study. Don’t’ forget your stuff on
your way to school tomorrow. I’ll pick you up
there. I love you.”
“I love you too, bye.” I said hanging up
the phone.

Next Day, the Time Gate

“Prince Endymion, you wished to talk to
me.” Setsuna spoke as Darien reached the gate.
	“Setsuna, it’s about Serena’s
transformation into the Neo Queen. Why is it
happening sooner than we thought?” he asked.
“I can’t tell you to much Darien. I can
tell you this though, there is an adventure
coming, and it will test you all.” She said as
she disappeared and Darien was back in his
apartment.
“Thanks for nothing Sets.” He said as he
rushed out the door to come and get me.

After school, out front

“So Darien is coming to pick you up for
the weekend?” Lita asked as she helped me
carry my bag outside.
“Yep. I keep wondering what he’s
planning. All I know is the whole weekend is
a surprise.” I laughed as Lita sat down my
bag.
“That’s cool. Don’t forget the scout
meeting tomorrow at noon. Bring Darien too.
Raye and Amy are going to see if we can find
anything out. Gotta go, bye.” Lita said as
she ran off with Mina and Amy.
“Hi.” Someone said from behind me. I spun
around and ended up staring straight at a
well-built chest in a black shirt and green
tweed jacket.
“HI!” I said as I jumped into his arms.
“What a greeting.” He said as he kissed my
cheek and helped me into the car.
“Darien, we need to talk.” I said as we
drove off toward his apartment.
	“About what?” he asked.
“The future. The girls don’t really know
what’s going on, but last night, I found out.
I was visited by my mother, and a few other
people.”
	“And?” he asked.
“Let’s just say, you’re not going to like
what’s going to happen.”
“And what, pray tell, do you mean by
that?” he asked.
“Let’s get to your apartment and I’ll tell
you all about it.” I said as we pulled into
the apartment garage. Once we got upstairs,
we settled down on the couch. I leaned
against him and let the tears flow.
“Serena, what’s going on?” he asked as he
hugged me to him.
“Darien, something in the future has
changed. Something big. Pluto, my mother, my
guardians, none of them knows what’s going on.
Some evil has come to Earth, and it’s changing
the future. I don’t know what’s going to
happen, all I know, it’s not good.” I said as
I cried softly.
“It’s okay Serena. No matter what, we’ll
make it through whatever is thrown at us.”
Darien replied.
